Taught my own kids

I taught both of my kids and I wouldn't suggest it to anyone. I teach third grade and I was remarkably harder on them without actually meaning to. I also felt because they were honor roll students some may have thought I gave them grades, but they earned every grade they made.They especially didn't like it because I didn't let them get away with anything whereas another teacher might not be as strict with them as I was because they were my own.
