Howard, this has happened to me before. One school actually has approval by administrators to "dump on the sub" 'oh, you're in for so- and so?? Hah, you'll be busy today!'

I don't understand the non-supportive attitudes I see in some schools.

I've found it helpful to try and stay on top of them. The resource rooms are usually well stocked with all kinds of supplies and I'll use them all if I have to.

Sometimes an energenic game or a funny song is all you need.
