seating charts
By Carolyn

Clip to ScrapBook
I was fortunate to sub in a middle school where teachers kept very reliable seating charts. I just knew the kids would change seats because I was there and not their regular teacher, so I used to pick up the seating chart and announce upon my arrival (what was actually obvious to me--boy sitting in girl's seat): Okay, Tim, you need to get back to your OWN seat, not Sara's. Once we got started with that, some others began to move back to their regular seat. Uh, oh, the sub's on to us!
