I love 4th grade!

Beth, I wish you the best with your first year of 4th grade. 4th is my favorite grade. I used to teach 6th grade and I also have experience with Kindergarten and by far 4th has been my best experience. The kids are much more independent than primary kids, yet they still are lovable and excited about school. I also teach in a self-contained room which is nice because you can be more flexible with your schedule, time, etc. The school I work in is in the inner city and I have found it to be extremely rewarding. If you have any more questions about 4th let me know. I have plenty of tips and ideas!
