Last year I left a school where I had taught for 5 years, I told my kids because I was moving to another state and I had had some siblings and knew most of the kids in the school. Now I am moving to a new school again having been at my current school for 1 year. I don't think I will say anything this year, I haven't been there long enough to for relationships with these kids/families. It depends on how much attachment you have to the kids, families, and the school.
