I actually don't mind if they want to visit with their parents (during breaks) or if they come early to school with their parents. Most times the teachers themselves wanted their children to be treated like any other child in the school. I actually found some of the teachers to be harder on their own kids just to ensure "favortism" wasn't happening. Were there a few that did not work out as well as others - of course - but parents are parents no matter if they are teachers or not. As their child's classroom teacher I had a role to play and I expected them to be parents not teachers when we had discussions about their children.
