You are going to absolutely love it! Remember, their skill level will be a lot lower than what you are used to. Two years ago, my friend switched from 2nd to K and loves it. She says it was the best move she ever made.
Many kids may come to school with no experience using a scissors, glue, of being read to or limited vocabulary. These learners will be the ones that will be obvious to you and make sure to make them your number one priority!
Some kids may be sad the first few weeks of school, I always have extra hugs available for them! It is so much fun to see what they learn that first formal year in school. If you have other specific questions, I would love to help. Just email me.
