spelling ideas

I have them use the newspaper or magazine to cut out the letters of their spelling words and paste them on the page. They can also write their words in bubble letters. Also, I have them write the words 5x each,but they use a red crayon and blue crayon - they write the consonants in one color and the vowels in the other. I hope this helps some.
