butterfly art
By mhearn

Clip to ScrapBook
I had a friend make butterfly patterns. They were different sizes and shapes. Then the students traced these on 2 sheets of wax paper. Then, we used old crayons...broken pieces...and shaved them with a sharpener one picec of the wax paper. i had a room mother to help with this next part. Using an iron, we put the top sheet of wax paper on the one with the shavings and "ironed" them. it melts the crayons and makes nice patterns.
