Clip to ScrapBook
I teach 5th graders, but my Social Studies Center takes whatever theme we're studying and has one activity for each of the multiple intelligences. For instance on a theme such as Community they might: write an anthem for our community, draw a map of major landmarks, Create a book of native plants and animals found in our community, write several journal entries from the point of view of the first people to discover our community, etc.

These are up for the duration of the theme, and are shared in our culminating activity and "graded" as extra credit.
