Leave as soon as your students leave your room
By jr

Clip to ScrapBook
I have often been told by teachers to leave if you have no students. I don't think we should bother the office (when they are dealing with announcements or checkouts). Middle and high principals are usually more laid back. I have found out that doing less will not make you any less appreciated. As long as you take care of the students while they are under you care, that is all that matters. Stay late and do extra stuff and you are just wasting your time. In fact, they resent a sub who tries to do too much. Do your job the best you can and get the heck out! Don't hang around and try to rearrange the room etc..
