Dismissal

I would need a little more information to answer completely. Do you stay in the room the whole time and the kids walk themselves to the bus? Does someone pick them up?

Some teachers read a book to the class during dismissal or play Around the World. It keeps them quiet.

Go over this new dismissal and practice it with your kids. Show them and tell them what it is that you are expecting and let them know what will happen if they don't follow directions.

When anything new happens, show them what is expected and you will prevent a lot of problems.
