Not in all cases

Yes there are Principals out there who shouldn't be Principals. There are as well teachers out there who shouldn't be teachers!

But to simply make a one size fits all statement as you have isn't really fair. I've taught
with both types of Principals and some in-between. I also know it is a thankless job much of the time. Principals get yelled at as well, deal with irate parents and irate teachers, budgets, the media, students, displine, etc., and they do not necessarily get paid a huge amount more than teachers do. I have a lot of respect for most of them, but yes there are some who do not earn that
respect.

And to be honest, you can let too many students out of your class. You can eat in the wrong place, you should teach until the bell. Remember Principals have goals for their schools and have to make sure that their schools are achieving or they won't be Principals for long.
