I agree with you on the difficulty of hearing the teacher's name. In our county, I understand the sub computer system is considered "old" by current standards of automated technology. My biggest complaint is teachers who, | although there is a place for them to do so at the end of the job offer, don't leave information regarding early morning yard duty, or after school duty. This means that I arrive at the school site and am told I should be out on the black top *now*, then have no time to review the lesson plans before class begins. Agh! After school "surprise" duty is no better as I often have appointments | |
after school and have to either cancel them, reschedule, or show up late. Knowing about duty beforehand gives me the option of taking or declining the job confidently.
