Introductions & Conclusions
By Sari

Clip to ScrapBook
Model, model, model. Students need lots of examples rather than explanations. Find as many examples as you can of the types of intros and conclusions you want to see in their writing. Also, have them edit by removing any sentence containing the words "I," "my," "me," etc. They will have to remove "I am going to" and "That's what I think" sentences and find ways to rephrase them.
