I used the program during student teaching for 6 months.

I was very frustrated by the sheer amount of books to keep track of. Between all those small, individual books to keep track of, I didn't know if I was coming or going. If I could do it again, I'd go to Kinkos have all the spines cut off and have them 3-hole drilled and put them all in a huge three-ring binder. That way all the open court stuff stays together.

I don't know how you can use the open court reading system in a normal school day WITHOUT cutting some of it out or rotating priorities from week to week. Aside from leaving out every other subject - there's just no way! Good luck!
