Clip to ScrapBook
I had all three of my kids at the school where I teach. I even taught all three of them. My first was no problem. She went through grades K-8. My second was fine too. I took him out in Middle School because I could see
that he needed his own space and so did I. My last child had a hard time accepting me givimg attention to my class and felt they got more of it then her. She acted up a lot. Like Patty I got to know her whole day. The vice principal would drag me out of class to tell me of her lastest misbehavior. It was not a good situation. I now have her somewhere else. I took her out in 4th
grade. She loves her school because it is her school not mine.

It all depends on the child and you. My first child was very independent so she did well. I gave her the space she needed. She was a good student. My husband was great, too! He went on the field trips and conferences and meet the teacher night. He also helped with homework. It can work but it is tricky. My advise is to try it but act like a parent have the staff deal with you as a parent when it comes to your child.
