I teach in a private school and this was my first year in second grade after teaching Kindergarten for 6 years. I noticed that alot of second grade was review of first like the special sounds charts, except for a few tems| such as suffixes, prefixes, and a few new concrpts for creative writing use. I highly recommend a book Mcgraw Hill pubilshes as a workbook for 2nd grade review. It even comes with a CD Rom. Also A-Beka Curriculum has a lot of charts you can use for second grade /1st grade phonics review. In the math its a little more challenging thatn the extensive review in phonics. You may want to look | |
at the curriculum plus the book from McGrqw HIll. Check your local wholesale/surplus stores like Sam's, B.J's. Costco. I personally got mine at B.J's Good Luck.
