Why Not?
By Dev

Clip to ScrapBook
For the teacher with the same story. Why don't you call the parents at home with the homework assignments? Parents in general complain because teachers do not communicate enough. I would stop all the paper coming home that
you send and call direct. I bet you get a lot of answering machines after a while.
I have a few parents that do not read anything I send home BUT they have email at their work and home. I get permission (in writing) and then I email nightly home work asignments. I am in 2nd grade and so I send weekly homework to them and I print out and keep copies.
I include all the parents that
like this form of communication and type it out once. That way, messages cant be 'erased' or 'lost' by students.
So far it works for me.
Hope this helps!
