I teach first grade and we use Everyday Math.The thermometer is also color coded,but we use Fahrenheit.it's as follows:

-50 to 0 Degrees white

0 to 20 Degrees purple

20 to 40 Degrees blue

40 to 60 Degrees green

60 to80 Degrees yellow

80 to 100 Degrees orange

100 to 130 Degrees red
