Save some egg cartons and cut them up so each student has a row of 3 or 4. Use white yarn to simulate floss, and let them practice the correct flossing procedure.

Also, we have had lots of luck inviting the local health unit to do a toothbrushing demo, and they usually bring a new toothbrush for each child.
