Conferencing: With students create a list (on chart paper) of things to edit in writing. Create another list of the process each student will follow to complete a paper. This should include a personal review (done themselves) and peer conferencing prior to teacher conference. When conferencing with students, review this list and discuss how to take writing further and how the student feels about the writing - create a rubric form if graded writings and complete with student.
