re:help with reading strategies
By Naomi

Clip to ScrapBook
For a change in service delivery, or more specifically, reducing the child's hours as specified on the IEP, the IEP team is usually convened, or at least conferenced via phone and everyone signs on the dotted line, that the IEP team agrees with this decision. It is not done unilaterally, just as the initial placement was not done unilaterally. If there's one thing special ed has plenty of, it's rules, codes, and notification expectations. What does your principal have to say about this? What's the parent got to say? You shouldn't be in this alone...you're one of four on the IEP team, and no one gets to push anyone else around, even for the best of reasons.
