I teach in the southernmost part of the FL (and the U.S.), the FL Keys. The pay is better in FL the more south you head, although we do have to endure many a hurricane....it all balances out. The FCAT is our tool of measure and the state has now instituted that students in grade three that don't pass must be retained. No one likes it. The weather is great here!
