creating a powerpoint? kids are always excited to get on the computer. this project can be harder or easier depending on your grade level. one slide for title and author, one for setting, one for characters, one for plot....

have them write a sentence and add a graphic for each slide. creating powerpoints is fairly easy--and they love watching their presentations when we share as a class. (this is a great collaboration project too--my students have always been so good about helping each other--i show them the basics--those who already know or just figure it out show others how to add sound and interesting transitions and movement.
