Unfortunately By Cathy-Dee

There have been teachers who have molested their female students (and sometimes even male students) and because of that unfortunately all males are labelled. Is it fair? No, but parents and teachers as well do have to put| the welfare of children and youths first. If this means being over-cautious around male teachers in situations where abuse could occur, then I think parents/guardians/teachers have the obligation to be over-cautious. And any male teacher is hopefully smart enough in this day and age to make sure that they do not put themselves into any position that could be mis-read. Even as a female | | teacher of young children I make sure I never spend time alone with a child in a room that is off the way or with a closed door. It is sad that we have to be so cautious because of a few very sick minds out there. To the original poster - I can see your point - I think because there were two adults in the car it wasn't quite as bad as it could have been if it was only your husband. I would suggest in the future that even if he had a parent in his car instead of the other coach it would be a little less sensitive. I would also think 3 girls would be a safer number as well. I didn't like the sound of 2 girls and 1 boy in the back seat together.
