First Grade Gift Idea

I did my student teaching in a first grade class in the rall of 2001. I gave each of my first graders a hard cover Curious George book that I personalized in the front cover with a greeting to them. I got the books at Costco Wholesale Club, they came in a box of about 8 and were very inexpensive. My students loved them. I also gave them a reindeer Christmas ornament made out of a clothespin (but you can't do that for this time of year). Hope this idea helps.
