Spelling By Amanda K.

We like to do Steps Spelling in our class. The kids write the word, one letter at a time, adding a new letter until all letters are added.

It comes out like this:

S
S P
S P E
S P E L
S P E L L

They also like to draw lines around the whole thing to make it look like steps.
