Rainbow Spelling
By Brooke

Clip to ScrapBook
I am also student teaching in first grade this semester. We also do rainbow spelling. The students are required to use 5 different crayons. They take a piece of manilla paper and a screen ( thin screen cut to be about 12 X 10) The students place the screen under the paper. They then use thier first crayon and write their first spelling word. They then go over the spelling word again with a different crayon. They do this five times. THey are actually writing the spelling words five times each and don't even know it.
