Me again- I had to share this!
By Suzie

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi Karen,
I just had to share this with you. I thought it was so cute and I'll be running this with my parents if I have a low grade next year. The parent must fill in this form. Put it on cute paper! Hope you like
it. Like me, you could call it: 'Miss _____'s reading Oath'!

I, ____________________________, hereby take this oath to help my child read everyday and promise to help make reading an essential part of my child's early life.

Reading begins in childhood and matures well into adulthood. Reading plays a vital role in obtaining a good, solid education, and with it, my child can achieve

immeasurable success. In effort to make this century better and brighter for our future leaders of tomorrow, I will encourage my child to read.

I will help my child learn new words and its meaning. I will take my child to the local bookstore and purchase books that will give him/her the opportunity to expand his/her knowledge and vocabulary. I will also take my child to the local library and let him/her check out books and other reading materials.

My child's success depends on reading. I hereby vow to make that success happen!
