It works for any grade because it teaches just word decoding. It improves reading skills in a very short time. And 4th graders could possibly complete the program this year. I can't say enough about it. My reading nightmare for struggling readers is over! You could even train your good readers to listen to struggling readers read throught the exercises. Good Luck! Fovena
