Re the poster above, it's descrimination because you are the minority. One of our misled thoughts as humans are to be wary of the unfamiliar. Look at other groups, people were afraid that gays were child molesters before it became more socially accpetable. Of course we know that this is not true now, but it may be the same until have male elementary teachers becomes the norm. It is still not right but it's just a thought. just know that you are instilling wonderful values in your daughter and students and hope that we will one day be judged on our actions, not our potential actions.
