Why I teach Parochial

I teach in a parochial school by choice.

I sought out a Catholic school. I want to teach religion to our young people. I want to wittnes to them the love of Jesus Christ by example. I love teaching a child how to pray.
It is a privlidge to help bring our young people to God. I believe I have been called to this vocation. I chose to honnor God, by sacraficing higher salary and better benefits and working in His school teaching His children.
There are many other perks to teach in a parochial school - like religious holidays off, the weekly mass, and a degree and compassion from staff and fellow

co-workers I do not belive exsists in the secular world. I feel so appreciated by the parish staff and all the parents at my school. To be respected and honnored for what you do is a great reward.
