Cooking is great fun

Hi there
I agree with the other post you want to keep your cooking activity simple. I am lucky in the sense my husband is a chef, great with kids and runs the hot lunch program at my school. I have had my kids down to cook twice - first time they learned about the kitchen and made choc chip cookies and the last time was part of our shape unit in math and they made shape sandwiches. Hubby had shapes he used to cut bread and the kids were able to choose cheese or PB to spread on it.
They really enjoyed it.
I am hoping to maybe have him cook some soup with the kids when we do nurtition next month.
Have a great time with it.
