Be sure that you have all paper work in order when meeting with administration on this student. It will be very helpful to have a portfolio (if you have saved any work). Be careful when "comparing" students. I have found that using a check list formatted from the schools philosophy and checking off what the student can and cannot do works wonders in visually showing what is lacking. Also a graph of # students able to master skill "Z" compared to those unable to master the same skill. Show where child is.
