Rainbows

I saw this idea posted somewhere and I have adapted it to suit me. I am making a cloud and a sun and my class will trace their hands and cut them out in the colours of a rainbow and that will be the rainbow. Another teacher| in my school created her rainbow by having her class paste ripped paper on it. You could also have your class finger paint or use paint handprints to make the rainbow. At the bottom I will make a black pot for the pot of gold and the children will cut out coins and print their names on them to put in the pot. You could glue their pics on there - which was in the original idea I saw, | |
but I did that at X-mas with their angels. My class is called PR and I am calling it the PR class goes over the rainbow.Another idea would go with the saying March comes in like a lamb and goes out like a lion. You could have the children make lambs and lions.
