Saturday school
By Diane

Clip to ScrapBook
We had Saturday school a few years back. On the first one we did games. I had numerous games but the students also brought in games. We selected a few games and then we played for about 15 to 20 minutes then rotated. We also
read a play and we acted out the parts. It was a 1/2 day and we had lunch it really wasnt so bad. The second Saturday we did a giant science fair, each teacher came up with a science experiement and the students rotated from room to room. I made goo, the students loved it. They also did a bridge, an egg drop, and I can't remember what the other teachers did. But if you need more information
I can ask around, it was a few years ago.
We are giving up our spring break, an in service day and adding a day to our year so we will get out on the 25th of June. I might be happy with a Satuday.
