Pregnancy and your 1st year

Hi Elizabeth,
This is my second year of teaching, but first in a new school. I have to agree with the other people's responses to your question. The first year of teaching alone is extremely stressful, and I think if| you add pregnancy to it as well you'd find yourself very stressed. I don't want to sound so negative, but it really is a lot of work. I am normally a very stressed person anyway, so I can't imagine what I'd be like to be pregnant at the same time. My first year was quite crazy. I would just really think about how you handle stressful situations. If you can handle a lot of stress, then | |
you'd probably be fine. But if you stress easily, I might put it off until you have that first year completed!
