pregnancy By Angie

I just had a baby in February and am on maternity leave currently. This is my 4th year teaching. I hate to give negative sounding advice, but I would rethink getting pregnant your first year teaching. It is very exhausting| and stressful the first year, and I know I am not alone on this one. Having just been pregnant, I also know that is very tiring (especially is you end up with nausea). I know I was very tired the whole time and just wanted to get home right after school let out and take a nap. I could't have done this my first year because I stayed at school late and then brought work home. You | | might want to get at least your first year under your belt, because you will learn and change so much. Becoming a parent requires you to learn and change so much as well. It may be overwhelming to do both. I am curious to hear other people's advice on this subject! Whatever you decide, good luck and congratulations on your upcoming teaching career and family!
