no suggestions, just some info.

I really don't have a very practical solution. I will be reading to see what others suggest.

What about keeping air freshener handy? Only problem is, I would be concerned about students with allergies to the aerosal
product. Awhile back I read a post on this site explaining how some children and adults have allergies to cleaning products and I feel it is important to keep that in mind. Furthermore the use of air spray may bring more attention to the problem than you have already. On the other hand it may bring some relief.

I did a search and here are two (of the many many) websites with information

about flatulence.

The sites list foods that cause gas and those that cause especially smelly farts. Something to consider is possible lactose intolerance. A medical exam may be necessary.

I've heard about certain enzymes such as Paypaya, either in the actual fruit form or as a chewable tablet which aids digestion. Also products such as Gas-X. Of course, both options are not likely since it would involve parental support. Also I would hesitate treating the symptom before knowing the cause.

I wish I could have been more help.

Do others have any suggestions?
