everyday math
By Debbie

Clip to ScrapBook
Hello I currently teach everyday math. This is my third year. I like it more today than I did three years ago. I do not give homelinks for homework, I give out mathboxes instead. This keeps my pace a little faster. Also I
had every page put on a transparency in order to quickly go over their homework or seatwork. Some mathboxes I give as a quiz and some are given as seatwork. I don't do any explorations unless I feel there is time. I do two to three lessons a week depending on the skill at hand. I've collected alot of extra materials to help improve their understanding and give extra practice. Each morning
for their am worksheet they do a math page from a great book I've found. It covers add. subt. mult. div. etc. all the other skills that everyday math does not cover adequately. You can email me at school I have lots of ideas that can help you sort this out.
Ps. what state do you teach in?
