Let it ride

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi,
You're young, so my advice is to just sit back and go with the flow.

I've taught for 11 years and now I teach Year 1. I began in Upper primary, so I never thought I'd teach this low. BUT I'm glad really. My career
has been hell sometimes (a lot actually...) but it makes you a better teacher later on.

In my 1st year out of Uni, I had 33 Grade 6's for the whole year and they were so tough. I did it on my own, without help but my Principal had faith in me.

Take whatever grade you can at this early stage. Learning "on your toes" makes you a flexible, dynamic teacher in the future..

AND

P.S. I think I'm working as hard as I ever have on this very demanding grade, so I understand, K is tough going.

Good luck and I hope I've helped you. Suzie
