It begins with simple one syllable words and moves through multisyllable words. It teaches letter sounds from flash cards the practice reading words with the sounds they know. Its programmed so that all you have to do is move through the exercises. They have a website. www.justphonics.com Its great for 4th grade struggling readers. They use it at our school with Title 1. Once the studetns get established they have peer tutors listen to the students read through the exercises. Some parents are getting involved by listening at home. The classroom teachers see a difference right away. Students in the program can figure out word! Its worth having a teacher resource.
