third grade

I teach a 3/4 split, and can tell you what I love about my 3rd graders. I LOVE teaching the new concepts, third is a 'new' year for cirriculum, 4th the review (2nd grade generally reviews 1st grade concepts too I think)

I get to see kids learn how to write a correct paragraph, and learn how to put their thoughts down on paper in paragraph form.

I see kids start to become independent learners, and not be so dependant on me for everything.

I really enjoy this level, though I've learned that there are things about each level I've taught that I absolutely love....as well as things I could easily do without.
