I guess I didn't mention that I teach in an inner city school district. It would be wonderful if the funds were there to do the things I would like to have done for this child, but it's not realistic. He was originally going to be put into an out of district special ed school but that idea was wiped out because of money issues in the district. He has been through the child study team and the only modification that he was given was time out in another room when needed because his mother did not want him in a self contained classroom in our school. I'm just counting my days until summer vacation. That's the only hope I have left.
