The problem is I give my paras a lot of direction, daily written schedules(specifically describing each activity) and oral directions. I have let them know what I expect over and over again. They often ignore what I ask them to do or as in talking to each other it stops for a week or so and then they start it back up. For the most part each para works with one student at a time while I teach the others. This allows the neediest students to get the 1:1 they require. So.... my question really is when I ask paras to do something/stop doing something and they ignore me/refuse to do it/tell me yes and then don't do it....what should I do??? Better yet what would YOU do??
