your low readers
By fovena

Clip to ScrapBook
Renae, I feel for you. So many times teachers are trapped and locked into reading methods that don't reach the low readers. A sure way of teaching these students to read is intensive phonics practice. If you could supplement your current program with Just Phonics which is programmed practice exercises. You could do that 15 min daily and see progress. My school finally allowed me to use Just Phonics and
after seeing the results they are now using it with all their low readers. These students know how to figure out words now! Good luck fovena
