I know exactly what you are talking about! I go between several classes and have the same troubles as you. I was thinking that it would be better if I was in one room. I guess I was wrong about that. I do have one small group that I work with for ELA but technically I'm not supposed to be doing that and got in trouble for it so starting next week we have to rotate groups. This means that some weeks I won't be working with my Spec. Ed. kids at all for ELA. I just had my last observation (it's my first year) and the gen. ed. teacher said he didn't understand why I was observed the way I was because I wasn't observed doing my job. I was observed doing a whole group lesson just like a regular teacher. His comments were insulting to me. The gen. ed. teachers often make insulting comments or just plain ignore me or even worse don't even let me teach. Sorry to ramble!
