Sounds like a good idea to me. I am currently teaching in Jeersy City fifth grade and have previously taught fufth grade in VT. VT had a strong writing portfolio program so I felt good about writing but now my whoile program has fallen apart and I am looking for ideas and input. Right now everyone here is into Lucy Caulkins and co. I've read some of her stuff but I feel that I need more. Let me know what you are thinking about as far as a discussion board.
