Parent Day

We do this twice a year at my school and I usually have center activities set up. That way people can come in and out. Some that I have had are computer center where the students show their parents what we are learning in technology and how it is being integrated, map skills (this time we are making a salt dough map of our state), writing center (usually short narrative or poetry), math games or activity such as tessellations, reading a short expository piece and completing an activity, really just about anything you might usually do in centers can work. I take video and add clips of the day to an end of year video I make for each student.
